Getting Psyched Up for Spring

We are not anticipating as big a run-off as last year, but fishing should start a bit earlier and the rafting is always good. We always caution earlier season private rafters about changing river conditions and hazards – be careful and always check conditions before you put a craft into the water.

Where is the Snow?

Our local paper, the Flathead Beacon recently published a story from the Christian Science Monitor by Mark Guarino which tells us that the northern tier of the United States has been decidedly devoid of the white stuff so far this year.

Even though Glacier Outdoor Center is buttoned down for the winter, we’re still out there in cyberspace. Our online reservation system is waiting patiently (computers are like that) for you to book your spring and summer rafting, fishing excursions, and guided wilderness trips.

“Coram” Moves to West Yellowstone

One of Coram’s residents has moved south to West Yellowstone’s Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. He may be easy going but this restless three year old grizzly bear was captured in the western region of Glacier National Park.
