Glacier Outdoor Center and Glacier Anglers will host Northwest Montana’s 2nd annual Casting for Recovery retreat the weekend of September 15, 2012. The retreat is for Montana women in various stages of breast cancer treatment and recovery. Glacier Anglers will teach them how to fly fish, they will get to relax in nature and be with others who understand their experiences.
The waning days of summer mean just one thing for Glacier Anglers — great fishing! Both the Middle and North Forks of the Flathead are fishing really well. A full day guided fishing trip will get you to the higher stretches of the river where the pressure is minimal. We’ve had a lot of fun accessing the North Fork by helicopter this summer for multi-day fishing trips, avoiding the bumpy North Fork Road. It’s not too late to plan an amazing custom fishing trip with Glacier Anglers! Fishing will be good well into October.

Glacier Anglers hosted the Fun on the Fly event last weekend and everything went off without a hitch! Everyone that attended had a great time and caught tons of fish. This was our first year holding Fun on the Fly and we are sure to do it in the future so stay tuned for dates!
