Summer Events in the Flathead Valley


Columbia Falls Farmers’ Market – every Thursday 5-7:30pm, The Coop (behind O’Brien’s Liquor Store) Columbia Falls. Local produce, baked goods and local artists, live music, food trucks.  Check it out!

Whitefish Downtown Farmers’ Market – every Tuesday May 26-September 29, 5-7:30pm, north end of Central Ave., Whitefish. Crafts, local produce and baked goods, food booths, live music, and great fun!

Kalispell Farmers’ Market – every Saturday 9-12:30, Flathead Valley Community College, Kalispell.

West Glacier Farmers’ Market – every Friday 3:30-6:30, West Glacier.

Picnic in the Park – Tuesday evenings 7-9, Wednesday lunchtime 11:30-1:30, Depot Park, Kalispell. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and sit back and enjoy music provided by local bands – classic rock, bluegrass, blues, jazz, indy and more.  A variety of food vendors will be available.

Whitefish Gallery Nights Art Walk – first Thursday of every month May-October 6-9pm. The art community of Whitefish comes together to host an evening of featured artist exhibitions, entertainment, and light refreshments. Now in its 10th season, Whitefish Gallery Nights includes 15 participating art specialty shops and galleries.

Whitefish Arts Festival –  July 3-5, north end of Central Ave., Whitefish. Arts & Crafts Galore! Music & Entertainment!

47th Annual Arts in the Park Festival – July 17-19, Depot Park, Kalispell. Over 100 Juried Art & Craft Booths, Food and Specialty Booths, Live Music and Entertainment, Premium Beer and Wine Garden, Children’s Activity Area.

Heritage Days –  Last weekend in July, Columbia Falls. Rodeo, Parade, Craft Fair, Car Show, Basketball 3-on-3 Tournament and 5K & 10K Runs.

37th Annual Festival of the Arts – August 1 & 2, 2015, Bigfork. The annual Bigfork Festival of the Arts is a favorite among artists and visitors alike. The well attended Festival fills the main streets of the town with a fine selection of art, crafts, food, music and other entertainment on both Saturday and Sunday.

Huckleberry Days Arts Festival – August 7-9, Depot Park, Whitefish. Art Festival with over 100 artists & food vendors, mobile climbing wall for kids & adults and a huckleberry dessert bake-off contest.
