Half Day Whitewater
Want a dose of Glacier National Park White Water Rafting, but don’t have all day?
Our half-day Glacier National Park white water rafting trip offers the perfect opportunity to get a taste of adrenaline while sampling phenomenal views into Glacier National Park without having to commit your whole day. The 2 ½ hour trip takes place on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River and begins amongst the eye-popping vistas of Nyack Flats before flowing through the exhilarating whitewater of John Stevens Canyon.
As you embark from shore your guide will give you detailed safety info and paddling instruction. Once you’ve had a chance to hone your paddling skills on a couple miles of easygoing current, the river narrows and the fun begin! Rapids like Tunnel, Bone Crusher, and Jaws will leave you soaked, stoked, and anxious for more. Whether it’s your first trip to Montana or you’re a local looking to spice up a summer day, this Glacier National Park white water rafting trip will be the highlight of your adventures in Glacier country!
Check-in at Glacier Raft Company in the Village of West Glacier ½ hour prior to trip departure. The trip ends at the bridge in West Glacier where you will regain your land legs during a short walk back to our office, your car, dry clothes, and a chance to purchase trip photos and souvenirs!
