Our Montana whitewater rafting half-day trips are full of good times. You’ll raft the scenic Middle Fork of the Flathead River, including the white-knuckle whitewater of John Stevens Canyon. This lively, invigorating river offers whitewater rafting near Glacier National Park and features numerous class II-III rapids (medium size). If you’re not looking for an adrenaline-filled Montana whitewater rafting trip and would like to just sit back and relax while taking in some of Glacier National Park’s incredible scenery, we also offer scenic and interpretive floats to fit your style. Either way, we have something for everyone so climb aboard!

Half Day Whitewater

Experience a beautiful 3-hour float down the middle fork of the Flathead River. The first portion of the trip is a scenic float through the glacially carved flats, winding along the southern edge of Glacier National Park. Then you enter a beautiful canyon with small rapids and deep pools in the crystal-clear waters. Keep an eye out for wildlife and West Slope Cutthroat trout swimming by as you and your guide navigate the class I and II rapids. On warm days many guests take the opportunity to take a dip in the waters and swim around. More Information

Our scenic river tour gives you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the spectacular beauty of Glacier National Park and the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Aboard this 2-3 hour trip an experienced guide will share interpretive info and history of the area while escorting you down one of the most pristine watersheds in the world. Wildlife abounds on this stretch; you may see eagles, osprey, and maybe even an elusive bear or moose! More Information

Half Day Inflatable Kayak

Montana Whitewater rafting Glacier National Park

Whether as a solo adventurer or with the expedition partner of your choice, individual or tandem inflatable kayak trips are a great way to get up close and personal with some Montana whitewater rafting. These intrepid crafts can be added to any of our whitewater trips on which you’ll be assigned a raft and experienced guide to follow. Helmets, wetsuits, and neoprene booties are included.
