We at Glacier Raft Company have families of our own, and we can say based off our personal experience – there’s nothing quite as special as a family rafting trip in Glacier National Park.

We have been providing the community with family-friendly rafting trips right outside of Glacier National Park since 1976. We’re incredibly safety-conscious and will supply everything you need. Half Day Whitewater

Our half-day whitewater rafting trip offers the perfect opportunity to get a taste of adrenaline while sampling phenomenal views of Glacier National Park without having to commit your whole day. The 2 ½ hour rafting trip takes place on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River and begins amongst the eye-popping vistas of Nyack Flats before flowing through the exhilarating whitewater of John Stevens Canyon. If a scenic cruise on calm waters is your cup of tea then this is the trip for you. Our scenic tour gives you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the spectacular beauty of Glacier National Park and the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Aboard this 2-3 hour trip an experienced guide will share interpretive information and history of the area while escorting you down one of the most pristine watersheds in the world. Wildlife abounds on this stretch; you may see eagles, osprey, and maybe even an elusive bear or moose! More Information

Overnight rafting trips in Montana, Middle Fork Flathead River, Family-Friendly

If you only have a few days but still want to experience an extended whitewater adventure, we offer 2-day overnight rafting trips on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. The Middle Fork forms the southern border of spectacular Glacier National Park. In the spring and early summer, whitewater is at its peak on the Middle Fork with Class III rapids. By late July, the rapids have moderated to fun-filled Class II and III. More Information
