Introduction to Fly Fishing
Learn to fly fish on our private ponds
Our Introduction to Fly Fishing Class teaches you the foundations of fly fishing right outside of Glacier National Park. This is the perfect opportunity and environment for learning the art of fly fishing as well as the chance to catch fish. You will practice and gain confidence by fishing on one of our four ponds stocked with Rainbow and Cutthroat trout. This class is best suited for families with children or beginners new to fly fishing.
All necessary equipment is included to participate in our class. You do not need a Montana Fishing license to fish in our ponds. If you do have fly equipment, feel free to bring it. We are happy to verify that it is rigged correctly and ready to fish.
What you will cover in our introduction class:
- Fly casting technique
- Essential fly fishing knots
- How to choose your gear and tackle
