Your Trusted Glacier National Park Fishing Guides
Experience Montana fly fishing at its finest
Montana is legendary for its outstanding fly fishing and the waters that surround Glacier National Park are no exception. At least once, you should treat yourself to their extraordinary fly fishing adventure while visiting Glacier National Park. We offer daily and multi-day guided trips on the beautiful North and Middle Forks of the Flathead River, and multi-day trips into the Great Bear Wilderness to fish the acclaimed Upper Middle Fork. This is prime habitat for eager, native Westslope cutthroat trout and rainbow trout that you catch and release. Bring your own gear or let us supply everything you need. A Montana fishing license is required for all fishing trips with the exception of private pond fishing. Purchase your license at Glacier Outdoor Center or purchase online at Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks. If you’re a beginner, we provide instruction on private ponds where no Montana fishing license is required. One lesson and you may be hooked on fly fishing for life (if you’re lucky).

Glacier National Park Fishing Information
There are few rivers in the country that can offer as fulfilling an experience, both in its fishing and its scenery, as the Flathead River system in Montana. Creating the southwest boundary of Glacier National Park, the Middle and North Forks of the Flathead River are as pristine as they come and have an abundance of native Westslope cutthroat and rainbow trout that are extremely eager to eat just about anything you throw at them. If you’re local to the area, or just visiting, stop in Glacier Outdoor Center and Glacier Anglers Fly Shop for local Flathead River fly fishing tips. Our guides have fished these waters since 1976 and are more than happy to share with you the most current fishing information, the hot flies for the season and just about any other information you’re looking for in the area.
Glacier Anglers Client Testimonial
Full day of float fishing can be either a hit or miss venture. This was a grand slam – we had an outstanding guide (Chad) who made the experience top notch. Both my wife and I are experienced anglers, but not in fly fishing. Chad offered outstanding instruction, patience and knowledge. A great day on the water including catching fish!
