Cast and Raft Trips

fly fishing glacier national park, fishing and rafting combo trip

Cast and Raft Fishing/Whitewater Trips

Why choose between guided fishing and whitewater rafting trips when you can do both? Our Cast & Raft trip is a morning of fly fishing on our private fishing ponds, a deli lunch prepared by your guide, and an exhilarating afternoon on the whitewater of the Middle Fork of the Flathead. If you’re not looking for an adrenaline filled afternoon, float down the leisurely scenic section of the Middle Fork instead. Either way, this memorable trip features the best rafting and fly fishing Glacier National Park has to offer, and the experience will have you wanting to come back for more every year!

Our four private ponds are nestled in a secluded natural setting just outside Glacier National Park and routinely stocked with Westslope cutthroat trout. No Montana fishing license is required on our private ponds.

You’ll fly fish for 4 hours and your guide will provide all the necessary equipment including rods, reels, and flies.

Once you’ve finished your fishing excursion it’s time to hit the river! During the rafting portion of the trip you’ll enjoy either the exciting class II-III rapids on our whitewater trip or the calm beautiful waters of our scenic float.  Both trips run along the border of Glacier National Park with amazing views of Glacier’s gorgeous peaks. The rafting portion of the trip lasts 2-3 hours.

All fishing trips depart from Glacier Outdoor Center. Check in 30 minutes prior to trip departure. All rafting trips depart from Glacier Raft Company located in the Village of West Glacier right outside the entrance to Glacier National Park.
